RIMORCHIATORI
 RIUNITI

A hundred years of harbour towage

service, in Italy and abroad:

pride and a wealth of memories.

A HUNDRED-YEARS OLD SERVICE

Overview

Rimorchiatori Riuniti was founded in 1922 as a harbour towage company in the prestigious port of Genoa. Over 100 years of history, it has weathered the tides of time, becoming the most significant provider of such services in Italy and the entire Mediterranean.

Our activities have expanded through long-term concessions in Italian ports, including Genoa, Salerno, Augusta, Milazzo, Santa Panagia, Siracusa, Catania, Messina, Trieste, Ravenna, Ancona, Ortona, Vasto, Termoli, and Pescara, as well as in foreign ports such as Floro (Norway), Malta, Singapore and in coal terminals in Colombia. This is our legacy: a century of maritime excellence and success.

a century of

maritime

leadership

The Group's operations have never been limited to harbour towage alone. Thanks to Finarge Armamento Genovese S.r.l., Rimorchiatori Riuniti has expanded its scope of services to offshore platforms for over three decades.

This long and fruitful experience in the offshore platform sector has enabled the Group to broaden its presence and offer a comprehensive maritime service, solidifying its leadership position in the industry.

Expansion, international shipping, and diversification: a robust approach to maritime armament and industrial support.

Beyond harbour towage service and support in oil exploration, the Group has a long-standing tradition in maritime armament and managing bulk carriers, tankers, and container vessels used in international routes. The company has armed a modern 2,500 TEU container ship and managed Kamsarmax type bulk carriers.

The diversity of our activities is a testament to the Group's unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive and competitive maritime solutions, adapting dynamically to global market developments.

Crystal Pool.

Strategy for total

fleet control.

To ensure total control over its assets, Rimorchiatori Riuniti has adopted a strategy to expand and consolidate its market dominance. To achieve this, it has established Crystal Pool Srl as an internal management structure responsible for its fleet's technical and operational management.

Rimorchiatori Riuniti, through Crystal Pool, has also provided its services to third parties, collaborating with several major shipowning companies active in various shipping industry sectors. These sectors include dry cargo, liquid cargo, and containerized transport. This collaboration allows the company to expand its presence and make its expertise and resources available to meet the needs of a wide range of clients.

Finally, Rimorchiatori Riuniti has recently completed the sale of Rimorchiatori Mediterranei SPA, the subsidiary that held the entire range of the Group's harbour towage activities, to the MSC Group.

In a century of history, the Rimorchiatori Riuniti has consistently faced the challenges of the maritime industry, maintaining a deep respect for the environment, people, and the millions of tons of cargo handled worldwide. Our long tradition of commitment and dedication remains a guiding light as we look to the future with gratitude.
